Hansika Motwani is a famous child artist and now an upcoming heroine of Indian Film industry. She has done number of roles in Indian films and television. She was born on August 9, 1991, in Mumbai, India. Hansika Motwani’s father’s name is Pradeep Motwani and mother’s name is Mona Motwani. She also has a brother named Prashant Motwani. Hansika Motwani knows to speak number of languages but she chiefly communicates in Hindi.

Hansika Motwani is a known name in the Indian film industry and the small screen. Hansika Motwani was to start her film career in a film named ‘Yahoo’ which starred Govinda and Juhi Chawla. Juhi Chawla actually recommended her to the director, as she was impressed with her acting capabilities. But unfortunately the film delayed and finally could not be made. But it was Juhi Chawla again who helped Hansika Motwani to get her ad of Hyundai Santro with the superstar Shahrukh Khan. After the commercial, Hansika Motwani was a star.

She was loaded with offers for commercials. She did number of TV commercials for Pepsi, Samsung Electronics and Bournvita. One of the most noted offers that came for Hansika Motwani was for the film ‘Koi.. Mil Gaya’ that starred Hritik Roshan and Priety Zinta. The film was a smash hit.

Before entering the big screen of Indian Film Industry, Hansika Motwani did a number of TV serials like Ekta Kapoor’s ‘ Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. She was a apart of the popular kids show on Star Plus called ‘Shaka laka boom boom’.  She was very appreciated for her acting in the serial ‘Des Me Nikla Hoga Chand’. She played the character of Tina very well. She was also a part of Zee TV’s ‘Tum Bin’.

Apart from the famous roles Hansika Motwani played, she was also a part of number of other films that did not do very well at the box office but Hansika Motwani’s talents could not be ignored. One such film was Mehul Kumar’s ‘ Jaago.. Shruti’. The film was based on a true story of a ten years old girl who was mentally challenged and who was raped in a local train in August 2002. Hansika Motwani impressed number of critics with her performance in the film. Hansika Motwani has played appreciable characters in films like ‘ Escape from Taliban’ , “Hawa’ and Dheeraj Kumar’s ‘Abra Ka Dabra’ that unfortunately lost at the box office. Hansika Motwani has worked with the superstar of the millennium, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan in the film’ Hum Kaun Hai’

Hansika Motwani is now moving to be a heroine. She has done a role in Puri Jagannadh's Telegu film. The film is named as Desamuduru in which she is paired opposite Allu Arjun. Hansika Motwani plays a sannyasi in the film. She is also doing a Hindi film called ‘He’, which is still under production. Hansika Motwani is all set to debut as a heroine in Himesh Reshammiya’s film ‘ Aap ka Saroor- The Real Love Story’.
